Clean, reliable, responsive, and reasonably priced! Our guests were impressed with Turd Burglar’s clean portable toilets and even commented to us. We will call again!

I used this company for our event and couldn’t be happier. The porta potties arrived exactly when promised, were very clean, and stayed that way the whole time. The team was professional, responsive, and clearly takes pride in their work. It made a big difference for our guests. I’ll definitely call them again for future events.

We used Turd Burglar for a grad party and it was a great experience. Drop off and pick up didn’t require me there, and the unit was extremely clean. Party-goers commented on what a nice porta potty it was, which made it easier to keep people outside. I have already been recommending them to others in the neighborhood.

I run a large construction company and needed some toilets and sinks for a couple job sites. The turd burglar responded super fast with zero hastle, and was on time with delivery. Toilets were squeaky clean and smelled amazing. Great prices as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone in need of toilets. Will definitely use again.

Set Up Before Guests Arrive

An event runs on timing. Units land early enough that the setup is finished and out of the way before the first car pulls in.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many portable toilets do I need for my event?

It comes down to two numbers: how many guests and how many hours. The portable sanitation industry's own standard puts a four hour event of a hundred guests at two units, five hundred guests at five, and a thousand guests at eight. Longer events need more, because the same guest comes back. Two things push the count up by twenty to thirty percent: temperatures above eighty degrees, and alcohol. Count your vendors, volunteers, and crew too.

What happens between booking and the day of the event?

We talk through the guest count, the hours, and where the units can sit. You get a number before anything is scheduled. Delivery happens the day before or the morning of, early enough to be finished before guests arrive, and we walk the placement so nothing ends up in a photo. Pickup is the following day. Events serving food usually add handwash stations at the same time.

What affects the cost of event restroom rentals?

The guest count and the length of the event set the unit count, and the unit count drives most of the price. After that it is whether you need an accessible unit, whether the site needs handwash stations, how far the units have to be carried from where the truck can park, and whether the event runs long enough to want servicing partway through. Do I need an accessible unit at a public event?

For events open to the public, yes. The 2010 ADA Standards say that where single user portable units are clustered at one location, at least five percent of the units in each cluster must be accessible, and those units carry the International Symbol of Accessibility. Private events are a different question, but most hosts add a ground level unit anyway, because guests with a walker or a stroller are far more common than most people expect.

How long can I keep the units?

A weekend party usually runs Friday to Monday, and a one day event is normally delivered the day before and collected the day after. Multi day festivals and county fairs run as long as the event does, with servicing scheduled between days. Longer bookings are common through a Twin Cities summer, when the weekend calendar fills early and holding your dates matters more than the length of the rental.
